Grapevine Educational Consulting was founded by Stephanie Mitchell.  Stephanie was a 15 year staff member at a top, private preparatory school in Connecticut servicing students with learning differences.  For the last 10 years of her time at the school, she served as the Director of College Placement and Transition Planning.  During her tenure she successfully placed 100s of students in colleges, comprehensive support programs, transition programs, and gap year programs.

She has extensive experience working with students  with a variety of learning and social difficulties such as dyslexia, ADHD, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, language and auditory processing disorders, NVLD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and a number of other challenges that can make selecting an appropriate post-secondary setting a difficult process.

A skilled communicator, Stephanie's expertise lies in considering the whole child - their experiences, strengths, challenges and desires - while working with families through this process. For her, it is an honor to walk with her clients through this very exciting and often overwhelming journey.
